Save Button
The Save Button allows players to save their current score at any time during the game. This score can be saved to the leaderboard, ensuring their high score is recorded.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard is reset every 7 days. It keeps track of the top scores, and the top 10 players receive prizes in either Sol or $MTG tokens. Accessing the leaderboard is through a dedicated "Leaderboard" button, which directs players to view the current rankings and prizes.
To save a score on the leaderboard, players are required to pay a small fee of $0.13. This fee serves multiple purposes:
Deterrence Against Bots: The fee helps prevent bots from spamming the game and leaderboard.
Distribution of Prizes: 50% of the collected fees are distributed as prizes to the top 10 players if the prize is in SOL.
Token Burn: If the prize is in $MTG, 50% of the fees are used to purchase and burn $MTG tokens, supporting the token's value and economy.
To excel in 2048, players should focus on keeping their highest value tile in a corner and strategically maneuvering other tiles to combine and increase their values. Planning ahead and considering the effects of each move are crucial for achieving high scores.
